Code of Ethics
The McKnight Brain Research Foundation is committed to:
- Acting honestly, truthfully and with integrity in all transactions and dealings
 - Avoiding conflicts of interest and appropriately handling any conflicts of interest in all relationships
 - Treating all grantees fairly and treating every individual with dignity and respect
 - Being a good corporate citizen and complying with both the spirit and the letter of the law
 - Acting responsibly toward the professional communities we work with and for the benefit of the professional communities we serve
 - Being responsible, transparent, and accountable for all of our actions
 - Endeavoring to make policy decisions only after full discussion
 
- Rendering all decisions based on the available facts and independent judgment, and refusing to surrender that judgment
 - Staying informed about pertinent issues by individual study and through participation in programs providing needed information relevant to the MBRF
 - Taking no private action that will compromise the Foundation, and respecting the confidentiality of information that is privileged under applicable law
