Jennifer Bizon, Ph.D., chair of the UF College of Medicine department of neuroscience and an expert in brain aging, has been appointed director of the Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute of the University of Florida.

Founded in 1999, the McKnight Brain Research Foundation is the nation’s only private foundation dedicated exclusively to discovering the mysteries of the aging brain. By supporting research and investigation, we’re working to better understand and alleviate the effects of age-related cognitive decline and memory loss.
