On the Aging Brain and Mind Q&A with MBRF Vice Chair, Madhav Thambisetty, MD, PhD

As part of a visiting professorship with the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in India, Madhav Thambisetty, MD, PhD, Vice Chair of the McKnight Brain Research Foundation, participated in a well attended question and answer session for the general public on The Aging Brain and Mind. The organizations is the equivalent of National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Mental Health, the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders.

The event was hosted by Dr. Krishnamoorthy, an eminent neurologist whose father was also a very accomplished clinician who trained in the UK and US before returning to India. Dr. Krishnamoorthy heads the Neurosciences India Group, a charitable organization dedicated to improving neurology/neuroscience education in India, which regularly brings renowned speakers to lecture in India.

In the Q&A, Dr. Thambisetty provides comprehensive and useful information on age-related cognitive decline and memory loss to health professionals, care givers and the public.
